Join the Society
Membership of the Society is open to all on payment of the annual subscription. There are separate rates for individual and institutional members. Many of our members live in Lincolnshire or elsewhere in the East Midlands. Others are Lincolnshire people who have moved away and wish to maintain links with their native county and to support the work of the Society. The Society has many individual and institutional members across the world.
Membership Benefits
All members receive one copy of each volume published by the Society. The Society maintains high standards of scholarship and production. The volumes are designed to have long lasting value for amateur and professional scholars alike. They provide basic resources for students of all ages working on dissertations and projects. Unlike monographs whose findings may be superseded our volumes may go out of print but they never go out of date.
Members may also buy back volumes at a very substantial saving over the price to non-members. Volumes which are out of print are sometimes available second-hand to members through the honorary treasurer, to whom enquiries should be addressed. Members are entitled to attend and vote at Annual General Meetings and to stand for election to Council.
The Cost of Membership
Current subscription rates are as follows:
- Individual £18
- Institutional £20
- Life £300
(Overseas subscribers are asked to pay in sterling to avoid conversion charges).
