Medieval manuscripts are displayed in the Medieval Library, early printed books in the Wren Library. The displays are changed regularly throughout the season.

‘Armenian Type Now’ celebrates the ancient culture and language of the Armenians. As there is no computer type face for the Armenian alphabet, Carolyn Puzzovio (University of Lincoln) is working on new designs. Her exhibition of books and photographic material marks the UN General Assembly’s designation of the year 2008 as the International Year of Languages. Books in numerous languages from the Library’s own collection will be on view.

Each lecture starts at 6.30pm, preceded by tea at 6pm in the Cloister

Tickets are free but must be pre-booked.

Bishop John investigates different aspects of Jesus Christ. These thought-provoking talks are meant for anyone who is seeking to learn more about Christianity. Entry is through the south door of the Chapter House, Lincoln Cathedral.

Former Director of the Mystery Plays, Keith Ramsay, gives the background to the Lincoln Mystery Plays, aided by this years’ Producer, Liz Lucas. The south door of the Chapter House opens at 6pm. Holders of both tickets will have access to seats for the performance at the same time as the rest of the audience.
